Peptide products usually refer to peptide hormone in habit. A compound consisting of residues of 50 or less amino acids is generally classified as a polypeptide. Now it is known that many kinds of hormones and active peptides are contained and secreted in organisms, and nearly 40 kinds of peptides exist in the brain alone. The concentration of polypeptides in the blood is very low, usually 10-10-mol/L, but the physiological activity is very strong, which plays a very important role in regulating physiological functions. According to the effects and secretory sites of peptides, it can be divided into:

1. Vasopressin and its derivatives

There are neurohypophysin, vasopressin, tannic acid vasopressin, deaminopressin, phenylein vasopressin, ornithopressin (POR - 8) and so on.

2. Oxytocin and its derivatives

There are oxytocin, deaminopressin, oxytocin tartaric acid and so on

3. Corticotropin and its derivatives

There are corticotrophin, zinc corticotrophin (acth-zn), phosphozinc corticotrophin, gelatin corticotrophin, carboxylated fiber corticotrophin, silk raisin corticotrophin 18 peptide, glargine corticotrophin 18 peptide, zinc corticotrophin 24 peptide, corticotrophin 25 peptide, 28 peptide and so on.

4. Hypothalamic-pituitary peptide hormone

Have gonadotropic hormone releasing hormone, promote the thyroid hormone releasing hormone, growth hormone releasing hormone (CHRH), growth hormone inhibin (CHIH), promoting melanocytes inhibiting hormone releasing hormone (MRIH), promote the melanin cells (MRH), prolactin releasing hormone (PRH), prolactin inhibits hormone (PIH), corticotrophin releasing hormone (LRH), etc.

5. Digestive tract hormones

Gastrin 34 peptides, 17 peptides, 14 peptides, 5 peptides, 4 peptides, secretin, cholecystokinin 39 peptides, 33 peptides, 8 peptides, gastrin, peptides, vasoactive peptides, pancreatic polypeptides, substance P, neurotensive peptides, frog skin peptides 14 peptides, 10 peptides, etc.

6. Other hormones and active peptides

With thymosin, glucagon, calcitonin, angiotensin Ⅰ peptide (10), Ⅱ peptide (8), Ⅲ peptide (7), the peptide enkephalin, endorphin, sleep, memory, peptide, pinecone peptide, trypsin inhibitor, etc.
